It appears that Samsung Galaxy S 4 is off to a good start in the United States. The phone has yet to make its debut on the market and carriers already have problems with fulfilling pre-orders.
AT&T customers who pre-ordered their Samsung Galaxy S 4 devices a while ago will be happy to know that the carrier plans to ship these pre-orders on April 25.
Given the fact that Samsung Galaxy S 4 will hit shelves at brick and mortar AT&T locations on April 27, there’s a high chance that customers who have pre-ordered the smartphone will receive it by the time it goes on sale.
However, those who have not pre-ordered the Galaxy S 4 yet, but wish to do so in the next few days, will be better off waiting for the smartphone to hit shelves.
According to AT&T, customers that pre-order the White Frost of Black Mist Samsung Galaxy S 4 will have their devices shipped on April 30. That’s 3 days after the flagship smartphone is scheduled to be released on the market.
The reason behind AT&T’s new shipping schedule might be the fact that the carrier has already depleted the first Galaxy S 4 stock and will not be able to fulfill any more pre-orders as early as April 25.
AT&T is not the first carrier in North America that has recorded huge demand for Samsung Galaxy S 4. Canadian mobile operator TELUS offers $50 credit to each customer who has pre-ordered the smartphone and is willing to accept an early May shipping instead of the promised late April.
Samsung Galaxy S 4 16GB is now available for pre-order via AT&T for as low as $200/€155 with new two-year agreements or for $640 / €490 outright.
Keep in mind that both White Frost and Black Mist color options can be pre-purchased now. Check them out here.
