Wireless carrier AT&T announced on Wednesday the release of a new product for its customers, namely the BlueAnt Q1 Voice Controlled Bluetooth Headset with Multipoint. The new device, the operator says, will become available for purchase starting July 19, both at the company's stores and online on its website.

The new BlueAnt Q1 product comes to the market as a premium noise-cancelling headset, while also offering users the possibility to control all its functions through their voice. According to the mobile phone carrier, the new headset eliminates the need to memorize button combinations to enable different functionalities of the device.

At the same time, the usage of the headset seems to be as simple as possible. In case users want to give the device a certain command, all that they need to do is ask “What can I say?” In response, the device will cycle through a menu of voice commands and will let them know what they can have it do.

Other functionalities are also available with the device, including BlueAnt’s Voice Isolation Technology software, which is meant to deliver a clear call quality, due to the fact that it is capable of distinguishing between the user's voice and other sounds. Due to this technology, the device will reduce environmental noise, while also canceling echoes and providing wind noise protection.

Moreover, the carrier says, the new BlueAnt Q1 headset also enables users to manage calls from two handsets simultaneously, courtesy of the true multipoint technology that has been packed inside it. We also have to mention the fact that it comes in a sleek design that has been developed so as to fit all ear shapes and sizes and to offer enhanced comfortability even when used all day long.

“Bluetooth devices should be easy and intuitive,” said Michael Cowan, AT&T director of accessories, AT&T Mobility & Consumer Markets. “The BlueAnt Q1, with voice commands and noise cancellation technology, makes calling easier and clearer with only one button.” The new device will come to AT&T customers starting July 19 at a price tag of $129.99.
