Sure, the ASUS Ultrabooks were spotted well enough in the US, and one of them even got torn down, but it looks like Singapore is finally getting them as well.

The two ultrabooks that ASUS has up for order are called Zenbook UX21E and UX31E.

The UX21E (11.6-inch LCD) features a starting price of S$1,398, while the UX31E (13.3-inch LCD) has a starting price of S$1,498.

So far, ultrabooks haven't sold very well, but it is believed that they will end up accounting for 43% of all notebooks by 2014-2015.

This means they will, eventually, be reasonably affordable, not just super-thin and light. Whether Intel actually helps with this by lowering CPU prices is still up in the air.
