ASUS might have the day of all of you smartwatch lovers out there, but that doesn't mean the company didn't bring some new laptops to IFA 2014. After all, this is what the company is best known for.

Well, they took the opportunity to unveil a real beauty today, in the form of the Zennbook UX305, the latest to join the company’s Ultrabook family.

What is quite striking from the get-go is that the laptop is extremely thin and light, and ASUS claims the device weighs 2.64 lbs / 1.19 kg and is 0.48 inches / 12mm in profile.

The laptop comes with a 13.3-inch form factor with an impressive 3200 x 1800 pixel resolution. The most interesting part is reserved to the hardware department, where we find Intel’s next-gen Intel Broadwell platform running things, which is expected to make a wider debut into device starting with 2015.

Other specifications include 256GB of storage state drive, HDMI out, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, 3 UBS port, a headset jack, SD card reader and a battery that should give you up to 10 hours of run time.

This super sexy device will be offered either in Ceramic Alloy or Obsidian Stone, but for the time being ASUS has failed to mention what the pricing for it will be. I will keep you posted when that information comes out.
