ASUS ZenWatch will finally be up for grabs

In late October, ASUS finally launched its ZenWatch, but it did so only in Asia and for a price tag of $275 / €215.

Rumor had it that ASUS was going to market just a few batches at first, while international customers would have to wait until a later date.

Well, luckily, the wait didn’t prove to be that long. Apparently, the watch will land at Best Buy starting November 9 with a price tag of $199 / €160, which is quite decent (as seen at Android Headlines).

Now, I’m going to take the opportunity to remind you how much other smartwatches are selling for at the moment.

LG G Watch: $229 / €185 (with Android Wear)

Moto 360: $249 / €201 (with Android Wear)

Samsung Gear Live: $199 (with Android Wear)

LG G Watch R: $299 / €241 (round display with Android Wear)

Samsung Gear S: $349 / €282 (and up, depending on carrier, with Tizen OS)

So as you can see, the ASUS ZenWatch is among the cheap ones. For this money you’ll be getting a wearable with an 1.63-inch AMOLED display with 320 x 320 pixel resolution (278 ppi) and 4GB of internal storage.

The watch has a heart rate monitor, can count steps, calories burned and figure out intensity or relaxation levels, while putting your overall workouts into perspective.
