ASUS has been frequently in the news as of late because of its ZenFone 2, the first smartphone to arrive with 4GB of RAM on board.

The company is using the same “Zen” moniker when it comes to its smartwatch product, the ZenWatch, and soon we might also get to see some new tablets being launched under the same banner.

According to Notebook Italia, the Taiwanese company is prepping two new tablets, called the ZenPad 7 and ZenPad 8, which will supposedly be introduced during Computex 2015.

The ZenPad 7 is a low-end affair, coming with a 7-inch display with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage. Power is going to come from Intel’s new Atom x3 line, and there’s going to be a 2MP/1.3MP camera combo too.

However, the other slate, the ZenPad 8, shapes up to be a lot more interesting, coming with a 8-inch display with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution and maybe a 4:3 aspect ratio like the Nexus 9. No other details are known about the tablet, but it is speculated that it might draw power from an Intel Atom Z3560 processor, just like the current ZenFone 2 flagship.

Computex 2015 is expected to start on June 2, so it shouldn't be long before we see these slates become official.
