The VivoTab Note 8 tablet has been launched at CES 2014 and represents ASUS’s answer to products like Acer Iconia W4, Toshiba Encore 8, Dell Venue 8 Pro and IdeaTab Miix 2.

A few weeks ago we didn't know exactly when we were going to see the device arrive on the market, but the slate has already made it to the UK and can be grabbed from Amazon (watch out, only one item is left in stock at the moment) for £337.60 / $555 / €409 a pop.

As a reminder, the VivoTab Note 8 features an 8-inch screen with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and draws power from an Intel Atom Z3740 quad-core processor (Bay Trail) combined with 2GB of RAM and with 64GB of internal storage.

Furthermore, we have dual cameras (5MP on the back and a frontal HD camera), microSD, stereo speakers and a 15.5Whr battery to keep the slate alive.

One of the highlights of the tablet is the Wacom stylus, known to be quite popular among tablet digital pen lovers.

If the ASUS VivoTab Note 8 seems like a good deal for you, head on over to Amazon quickly before the initial batch runs out.
