ASUS has just announced its latest PCI-Express graphics cards, based on NVIDIA's recently introduced GeForce GTX 285 and GTX 295, the world's fastest single-GPU and dual-GPU graphics cards. Boasting the next generation of 55nm-based graphics processors, ASUS' latest graphics cards will become available in three different versions, dubbed ENGTX295, ENGTX285 ULTIMATE, and ENGTX285 TOP. According to ASUS, its latest ENGTX285 ULTIMATE and ENGTX285 TOP are capable of providing its users with a 10% and 5% performance improvement, when compared with other cards, based on the same GPU.

ASUS can now provide its users with a standard GTX 285 graphics card, but also two new models, the ENGTX285 ULTIMATE and ENGTX285 TOP, that have been featured with a factory-overclocked graphics processing unit. According to the company, these new cards should provide users with a performance boost of 10% and 5%, respectively. The clock speed of ASUS' new ENGTX285 ULTIMATE has been raised from 648MHz to 712MHz for the core, from 1476MHz to 1620MHz for the shader and from 2484MHz to 2760MHz for the memory. The GTX 285 TOP version boasts a core/shader/memory core speed of 670MHz/1550MHz/2600MHz, respectively.

Vinay Shetty, Country Head Component Products for ASUS India said, “With the launch of the latest ENGTX295 and ENGTX285 series we are providing high end users in India with the most ultimate graphics solution to their demanding needs. These cards are especially designed for a very niche user segments like gamers and are equipped to provide very high graphic performance. With these cards ASUS will set a new benchmark for graphic card performance in the Indian market.”
