Yet more tablet news for us to cover, but at least this time around we have something to say that will benefit more than a handful of people.

We are certain that the number of people who own an ASUS Transformer TF300 tablet isn't exactly small.

As such, many will be those pleased to learn that the product, at least in Australia, is getting updated to the Android 4.1 operating system, otherwise known as Jelly Bean.

To check if the software has reached you, hook up to a Wi-Fi link (broadband use may cause you to go over your data cap) and proceed to Settings > About > Check for Updates.

Go here to see all the changes that moving from Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to Android 4.1 jelly Bean will bring.
