It appears the new laptop is going to pack a bunch of pretty nifty specs

Not so long ago it was revealed that ASUS is actively working towards bringing a series of Yoga-style 2-in-1 laptops/tablets to the market.

Just last week we saw the 15.6-inch TP500L machine, which will probably come equipped with Intel Haswell architecture fitted with 4GB of RAM plus a hard drive and solid state drive. Naturally, the device should run Windows 8.1 out of the box.

Another of these convertible models, the 13-inch ASUS TP300L was spotted going through the FCC earlier this month and while many details about it weren't made available, we get to come back now and offer a little bit of extra info on the hybrid.

The folks over at Mobile Geeks have managed to stumble upon some details about the specification the new 2-in-1 laptop will be arriving with, when it finally hits the market.

Apparently, we have good news and, because we spotted a retail listing, we can tell you the ASUS TP300L will be a relatively powerful machine, taking advantage of Haswell architecture (like we guessed the TP500L would, as well) and NVIDIA graphics.

So, it appears the computer will arrive with a 13.3-inch display that provides an FHD touch screen with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, fitted with an 8GB of RAM and backed up by 128GB solid state drive. The convertible runs Windows 8.1 64-bit and has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI output and 2 USB 30 ports.

On the inside lies an Intel Core i7-4510U processor, working in concert with NVIDIA GeForce 820 graphics. ASUS might also end up offering a cheaper version, without the NVIDIA graphics and with only Intel Core i5 installed.

Surely, this isn't the most powerful machine ASUS has up its sleeve. More demanding users can check out the ROG G750JZ gaming laptop which arrives with NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 880 GPU, which is one of the most powerful options from the NVIDIA line-up.

The graphic chip is based on the older high-end Kepler architecture that has been overclocked in order to boost performance.

Anyway, going back to the new hybrid unannounced models, ASUS is also prepping two new 15-inchers too, but at this point it’s not clear whether they will all be arriving with discrete graphics or Core i7 chips.

Yet, at least the ASUS TP300L model will be offering a dedicated graphics card, which will help set it apart from similar offering, like the Lenovo Yoga from which it borrows design cues. As for pricing, the 13.3-inch laptop is expected to start at around €800 / $1,096.
