Famous mainboard and laptop manufacturer, Taiwanese company ASUS has just introduced a new nettop that won the Green ICT Green Energy Saving Product Award.
The device is 90% recyclable and it even comes with a Nvidia GeForce GT 610M video card for light gaming and high-resolution movie playing.
The device is reportedly powered by a low-performance Intel Atom processor, so it’s very nice that ASUS attepted to improve the performance a little bit with the addition of the GeForce 610M GPU.
This is basically a reamed GT 520M GPU with a Ferni architecture that will perform at the level of Sandy Bridge HD3000 graphics, but much faster than what Atom has to offer.
ASUS’s new nettop has a lot of connectivity options and is priced around $300. That’s about €242 for the European green fans.
