Two spring-opened optical drive, 'strategically' placed USB ports and innovative design

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. (ASUS) yesterday announced the launch of the TA-6 chassis series, which is said to benefit from an innovative cooling concept and an easy DIY installation designs. The TA-6 series comes in a wide range of colors, as the design features, according to the company, "sleek paint coating and two bezel designs exude style and creativity and its minimalist concept provide visual comfort".

The hard drive showcase has been especially developed to enable an easy system upgrade and maintenance, as the user doesn't need a screwdriver to open up the case. Therefore, the case features handles, and the thumbscrews are placed on the side panels.

"The TA-6 Series is packed with features desired by any enthusiast. The rear and front large 120mm fans create effective airflow for heat dissipation at much lower speeds, providing a quiet computing experience. Side ventilation holes with air duct further pulls in cool air to the CPU and graphics card, while the innovative bottom venting holes enhance ventilation around the hard drive. The comprehensive cooling designs enable long continuous operation for the most powerful processing platforms from Intel and AMD and increase overall system performance and stability," the company added.

Moreover, the case has two spring-opened optical drive doors that permit a rapid access to optical devices, and 'strategically' placed USB ports that avoid mutual interference when multiple USB devices are connected.
