The Ice Cream Sandwich everyone wants will let itself be waited upon

Since the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime is clearly going to be the company's new flagship, mostly everyone expected it to come already loaded with the newest Android OS version, but this won't happen.

More precisely, this won't happen at first, and the slate will continue to stick to Honeycomb until Android 4.0 is ready.

No exact time frame given for when this might happen, exactly, but ASUS did let slip a certain other tidbit of valuable information.

Said detail is that, whenever the quad-core prime gets Ice Cream Sandwich, the original Transformer and the Eee Pad Slider will get it as well.

Go here to learn what else has, so far, been disclosed about the NVIDIA Kal-El-based Transformer Prime (not much, really, though ASUS did, at least, set up an official web page of sorts).
