There’s no doubt about it, this year’s Mobile World Congress will surely belong to Asian handset manufacturers. Obviously, Samsung, HTC, LG and Sony-Ericsson has a consistent presence at the trade fair in the previous year, but this time more Chinese and Japanese phone makers announced their entrance on the European market.

We expect Fujitsu, Panasonic, NEC, Huawei, ZTE, Asus and other smaller brands to increase competition in the European market. That is likely to make the end-user happier than ever as the offer will exponentially grow.

Every major company made arrangements for Mobile World Congress 2012 exhibition and invited media to their launch events, with one small exception.

It looks like LG will keep it small this year. The company decided to officially announce its 2012 lineup of phones ahead of MWC 2012.

Fortunately, all devices announced until now, and there are plenty, will be showcased at the company’s booth at the Mobile World Congress, in Barcelona.

Now, another multi-national company, Asus, will be launching its Padfone phone/tablet combo next week. We’ve already seen lots of pictures with the incredible device, but for the first time Asus implies that there might be something more.

The company has just released a video that teases the upcoming Asus Padfone launch event, which is confirmed for February 27. The video shows someone playing with three matryoshka dolls, but the tricky message appears just at the end of the teaser.

It looks like there will be one more thing to reveal besides the phone and tablet that compiles the Padfone combo. Somewhere at the end of the movie Asus hints to a possible third accessory, which will go along with the Padfone tablet/phone combo.

1 + 1 + 1 = Endless Possibilities” is the formula that makes us think Asus decided to include a third accessory into this combo, which we assume it’s a dock. The company did the same thing with the Asus Transformer Prime, but the availability of the dock in some countries is very low.
