Nettops aren't usually all that powerful, since they're made for people that don't do anything more strenuous on them than video watching and web surfing, but ASUS decided to make its Eee Box EB1037 a bit stronger than usual anyway.
Granted, it's still an entry-level system, but the Intel Celeron J1900 SoC is a quad-core 2.43 GHz unit, and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 820M discrete GPU (512 MB dedicated memory) is a lot better than any Intel iGP.
Also, the 8 GB of DDR3 memory is quite high compared to the normal 4 GB.
Other specs of the ASUS Eee Box EB1037 include two USB 3.0 ports, an HDD (320 GB to 1 TB) or SSD (64 GB to 128 GB) for storage, four USB 2.0 ports, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI and D-Sub.
The ASUS Eee Box EB1037, the first fanless model in the line, has a price of €299 / $299.
