The Wall Street Quartet is ASUS' code name for the P5W64 WS Professional workstation-class motherboard, revealed the company via a press release. Aiming to introduce advanced performance and scalability to the computing environment, the Quad-PCIe Intel Core 2 Motherboard is designed to integrate quad-PCI Express architecture. Delivering connectivity capabilities for a maximum of eight monitors, the P5W64 WS Professional delivers support for the Intel Core2 CPU and comes equipped with four PCI Express slots.

"Based on the Intel 975X chipset, the P5W64 WS Professional supports Intel's most powerful processors, including the advanced Intel Core 2 and future multi-core CPUs. Together with ATI's CrossFire multiple-GPU technology and native dual-channel DDR2 800 support up to 8GB, the P5W64 WS Professional is powerful enough for any resource-intensive application. With superior expandability, the all-new motherboard is ready for the future of personal computing," stated ASUS.

Additionally, the P5W64 WS Professional features two FireWire IEEE 1394a ports and a total of eight USB 2.0 ports. The motherboard offers the possibility of enabling two sets of RAID via eight Serial ATA-II 3Gb/s ports.
