Of the IT companies still actively supporting the netbook market, ASUS is one of the most outspoken and it even has a new such device up for pre-order.

The company's Eee PC X101CH is, like mostly every netbook nowadays, a product powered by Intel's Cedar Trail CPU line.

The chip used in this particular instance is the Atom N2600 dual-core, whose clock speed is of 1.6 GHz.

1 GB of DDR3 RAM backs the chip up (random access memory) - not the highest capacity in the world but still enough for this sort of device.

Furthermore, the storage capacity is of 320 GB, brought by a hard disk drive unit (HDD).

As for the display, the screen size is of 10.1 inches (obviously) and the native resolution is of 1,024 x 600 pixels.

Amazon has the Eee PC X101CH up for sale loaded with Windows 7 Starter and colored black or white, although the photo galleries seem to be mixed up. The price is $269.99 / 204.44 Euro.
