Obviously, the company deliberately withheld all relevant details

Next month, June 2013, Taipei, Taiwan will host the annual Computex trade show, where many IT companies will launch new products and share their roadmaps. ASUS, naturally, is among them.

Obviously, the company hasn't announced the products it will showcase there. That would mean jumping the gun by thirty days. It would kill the hype.

Thus, ASUS has chosen to build up some anticipation instead, by publishing a product teaser of the latest Transformer tablet.

The company didn't actually say it was preparing a Transformer. Instead, it made sure to use the word “transform” a whole bunch of times in the video.

The slate may be a small form factor mode with a stylus, or a full-size one. ASUS may very well prepare both types. A 7-inch slate with Windows 8 is definitely possible.

ASUS will hold the official press conference on June 3.
