As it happens, the Lamborghini VX6 netbook is not the only project that ASUS is working on, the company being also on the verge of finishing the U53JC-XX127V, the latest addition to the Bamboo line and a product that actually supports USB 3.0 and Intel's Wireless Display Technology, among other things.

USB 3.0, as end-users likely know by now, is the latest incarnation of the USB (Universal Serial Bus) interface and one that has a maximum data transfer rate that is ten times higher than that of USB 2.0

This technology has become quite popular and has been added to a significant deal of motherboards, storage solutions and mobile PCs.

Nevertheless, in the case of the ASUS Bamboo U53JC-XX127V, the company's new 15.6-inch notebook, USB 3.0 is just one of the bonuses, the other one being Intel's Wireless Display.

In terms of hardware, the machine is centered around the Intel Core i5-450M central processing unit, whose frequency is of 2.4 GHz.

This chip is paired with 4GB of RAM and the GeForce 310M graphics card, whose dedicated memory is of 1GB.

The laptop also features a LED-backlit display with a native resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels and a hard disk drive of 320GB.

Other specifications include SRS Premium Surround Sound, 802.11n WiFi, the Express Gate instant-on OS, Gigabit Ethernet and an 8-cell battery.

In addition to USB 3.0, there are two other special features that boost the product appeal of this Bamboo line member.

One is the NVIDIA Optimus technology, which dynamically switches between the integrated and discrete graphics.

The other feature is the Intel Wireless Display Technology, which can share laptop content on TVs without any need for wires.

Finally, the electronic is loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium and has a price of 999 Euro.
