ASUS is not done with the laptop market just yet, having begun to sell not just the B53 line of laptops, but also four P52 models, all of which run on Intel Core i3 or Core i5 central processing units and either integrated or NVIDIA graphics.

Having already unleashed a number of mobile PCs for the business sector, ASUS is now offering four more, with a partially similar target consumer base and specifications.

The newcomers are reportedly four in number and are part of the P52 series, their names being of P52F-SO006X, P52JC-SO009X, P52F-SO017X and P52JC-SO012X.

The P52JC-SO012X is the most powerful out of the lot and has a configuration centered around the Intel Core i5-450M, whose clock speed is of 2.4 GHz.

This chip is backed up by 4GB of RAM and has its integrated graphics complemented by the GeForce G310M video card, with 1GB of memory and Optimus technology.

The P52F-SO017X is almost identical to its sibling, only it lacks the NVIDIA discrete graphics, settling for just the GMA HD. Both have a 320GB HDD.

The P52JC-SO009X uses a different CPU, namely the Intel Core i3-370M, which has a clock speed of 2.4GHz and is paired with 2GB of RAM instead of 4GB.

Furthermore, this model features the same discrete GPU as the P52JC-SO012X, plus the Optimus technology which dynamically switches between it and the integrated solution.

As one would expect, the P52F-SO006X is almost identical to the P52JC-SO009X, only it comes without discrete graphics.

As for the rest of the feature set, it is the same in all instances, from the Anti-theft technology to the 6-cell battery.

The models also boast Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth, a 0.3 megapixel webcam, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, an 8X DVD writer and a 4-in-1 card reader, among other things.

The P52F-SO006X, P52JC-SO009X, P52F-SO017X and P52JC-SO012X have prices of 749 Euro, 809 Euro, 879 Euro and 939 Euro.
