ASRock has just announced its product lineup for this year Computex fair and one of the most interesting products to make its appearance is the A75 Extreme6 motherboard which is compatible with AMD's upcoming Llano processors.

Judging by its name, the A75 Extreme6 seems to be one of ASRock's most advanced FM1 motherboards and is specially designed to be used together with the upcoming AMD Llano processors.

At the heart of the board lies the AMD A75 Fusion Controller Hub (FCH) which offers native SATA 6Gbps and USB 3.0 support.

Up to four such ports can be driven by the Hudson D3 chipset and ASRock routed two of these to the rear I/O panel while the other two are available via an on-board header.

As far as storage is concerned, the A75 Extreme6 features no less than eight high-speed SATA 6Gbps ports, six run by the A75 FCH while the other two are driven by a third-party controller.

The rest of the expansion options include, three PCI Express x16 slots, three legacy PCI slots and a PCI Express x1 slot.

Right now, we don't know how many PCI Express lanes are routed to each of the PCI-E x16 sockets, but ASRock states that the A75 Extreme6 is compatible with dual-GPU CrossFireX setups.

However, consumers can also opt for using the Llano built-in graphics core as ASRock has paired its motherboard with D-Sub, DVI and HDMI video outputs.

The A75 Extreme6 should be compatible with all of AMD's FM1 Llano accelerated processing units (APUs) as long as their TDP comes under the 100W mark.

The first mobile Llano parts are expected to launch on June 1, while the desktop edition of the CPU is slated for a June 14 release.
