The new Beta version brings a few tweaks and enhancements to the tablet

Owners of Nexus tablets, you should know the Paranoid Android team has just rolled out the AOSPA 4.0 Beta 3 KitKat ROM, which also brings supports to some smartphones (Nexus 4, Nexus 5).

The new Beta build provides a number of fixes and tweaks, including the addition of support for maximizing lock screen widgets, Quick Settings 3.0, the AOSP Dialer icon has now been changed in the Google Dialer icon, Lockscreen password and On-the-spot preference.

The Paranoid team has also added a bunch of minor improvements which should allow your device to run smoother and faster.

Before you proceed, you should know that installing the AOSPA 4.0 Beta 3 KitKat ROM will void the warranty of your device. On top of that, there’s a bunch of pre-requisites you should be taking into account.

First off, you’ll need to download and install USB drivers for Nexus Devices and enable USB debugging from developer menu.

You should also have a custom recovery tool like TWRP or CWN on your device and perform a quick backup of your info.
