14 DAY TRIAL // Back in December, I told you the AOKP team was challenging fans to create a new boot animation for their custom ROM.
Finally, the results are in and the winner, Joachim Holler, is now being given the choice between a Nexus 7 tablet or a Nexus 5.
The AOKP team says Holler’s animation has been chosen as the winner because it “blew them away” and I have to agree, the pre-view video they have posted looks pretty awesome indeed.
The AOKP team might be right in trying to bring a more aesthetically pleasing boot-animation to the table, because let’s face it, that’s the first thing you see when you try and flash a ROM, so providing a very good first impression is pretty important for increasing adoption.
I’m pretty curious what Holler will end up choosing, the Nexus 7 or Nexus 5.
