They are both based on the “Vishera” core and have 8 MB cache

Advanced Micro Devices may be talking mostly about graphics cards and accelerated processing units lately, but it still has a bunch of CPUs for sale.

In fact, the company has just launched a pair of new Vishera units, called FX-4350 and FX-6350.

The former is a quad-core model with a base clock speed of 4.2 GHz and a Turbo frequency of 4.3 GHz.

It also has 8 MB of cache memory (L3) and a TDP (thermal design power) of 125W. The price is of $122 / €93-122.

The other CPU is a six-core model with 3.9 GHz / 4.2 GHz clock frequencies, 8 MB cache memory and, again, 125W TDP. The price is just a bit higher, at $132 / €100-132.

Since these are the base prices, I'm sure the final tags on retailer websites will be a bit higher.
