14 DAY TRIAL // Recognition is always awesome to have, which is why Advanced Micro Devices wasted no time in shouting from the rooftops, so to speak, that Corporate Responsibility (CR) Magazine named it a top Corporate Citizen.
CR Magazine compiles a list of companies periodically, ranked according to accountability and responsibility.
This is the 14th year when it was posted, and Advanced Micro Devices got the 19th spot out of a hundred.
That means it was among the top 20 after an overall score was tallied from seven categories: climate change, employee relations, environment, finance, philanthropy, governance and human rights.
"AMD is honored to be recognized among leading organizations for its commitment to corporate responsibility -- a commitment integrated into our daily business practices around the world," said Tim Mohin, director, corporate responsibility at AMD.
