We've been keeping an eye on every bit of info regarding AMD's next-generation FX Series central processing units, but one thing we were never able to pinpoint was the exact day of launch.

Thanks to certain parties, we now have this information: Advanced Micro Devices will release the Vishera processors, successors to Bulldozer, on October 23.

The line will be composed, at first, from the quad-core FX-4300, the six-core FX-6300 and the eight-core FX-8320 and FX-8350.

They all have Turbo Core technology, large cache memories and TDPs of 95W or 125W. For more information, go here. That said, we wish we could say that the prices aren't as high as we previously heard, but it still seems that sales will happen in exchange for $131 - $253 range (101-131 to 196-253 Euro).
