14 DAY TRIAL // The 2013 American Music Awards ended just hours ago and the musicians who got to walk home with the most awards included Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake and One Direction, who pretty much dominated the ceremony that took place live at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.
Taylor scooped up no less than 4 awards, including for Favorite Country Female Artist, Favorite Country Album, Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist and the biggest award of the night, Artist of the Year. This year is the third time Taylor wins Artist of the Year, so that speaks volumes about how popular she is, considering that the winners are voted by fans.
You know, in case you still had any doubts that she is extremely popular.
Justin Timberlake came hot on her heels with 3 wins, while One Direction won 2 awards. Other winners included Ariana Grande, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Rihanna, who was presented with the Icon Award.
The night was also packed with amazing performances, from Katy Perry’s opener to Lady Gaga and R. Kelly’s controversial show. But more on that later.
