Think of one of those invisible planes, only bulkier and red

Since Computex 2014 is just a week away at this point, every company that will attend has begun “leaking” information and, in this case, pictures of what will be on display at the show.

Well, technically, ADATA has only produced one picture, not a bunch of them. And said picture shows the new XPG Z1 DDR4 DRAM module.

If you look at it in a certain way, you might see the hints of an invisible spy plane, or of a boomerang.

Of course, it's equally possible that the module in the picture is actually the XPG V3 DDR3 DRAM module that ADATA will also release at Computex 2014.

We suppose we can only wait until June 3 to be sure. The likeliest outcome is that both the DDR3 and DDR4 modules have the same heatsink, so they look identical. Well, more or less.

The ADATA XPG Z1 DDR4 modules will have up to 16 GB memory, plus frequency of DDR4-2133 MHz and operating voltage of 1.2 V. In addition to red, they'll ship on several other colors, to match whatever mainboard you buy.

Of course, it's up to you to acquire an Intel "Broadwell" or "Haswell-E HEDT" CPU (other chips don't support DDR4, and even those haven't debuted yet).
