14 DAY TRIAL // ADATA is reportedly announcing a new line of waterproof USB thumb drives that will have a special rubberized casing with a cool basketball theme.
The ADATA NBA Jersey flash drive series is a portable storage that comes with casing figures that are wearing the jerseys of the most popular NBA players and are colored with the most popular team colors.
The flash drives are available in 4GB and 8GB storage capacities and will have waterproof characteristics limited to a 20 minutes period of uncapped, underwater stay at a depth of less than a meter.
This ADATA NBA flash drive is unfortunately using the old USB 2.0 interface. ADATA is obviously trying to capitalize on the buyer’s basketball passion and don’t really want to compete on the performance field.
The small thumb drives are bundled with UFDtoGo and OstoGO software and measure 2.2 x 1.4 x 0.4 inches, with a weight of about 11 grams.
That’s 0.4 ounces in imperial with metric measurements of 5.58 x 3.44 x 1 centimeters.
