Bryan co-hosted the awards show with good friend Blake Shelton

Before the 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards, Luke Bryan admitted that he was somewhat nervous about co-hosting with Blake Shelton for a variety of reasons, including his inability to stick to the script.

In the end though, everything turned out fine.

Not only did he and Blake make wonderful hosts, but Luke also went home clutching one of the much coveted awards so double yay for him!

He won Entertainer of the Year, an accolade that, his fans believe, he more than deserved.
