Although the International CES 2011 has officially closed its gates, we're still left with a very large number of new products that were introduced on this occasion to talk about, including here the brand-new media players from AC Ryan, namely the Playon!HD2 and Playon!HD Mini2. Built on the platforms of the very successful Playon!HD and Playon!HD Mini, the two new media players from AC Ryan bring to the picture some of the latest media playback technologies, including here the latest 1185 media player processor from Realtek.

So, similar to the previous versions, the new Playon!HD2 and Playon!HD Mini2 will offer comprehensive media playback and networking features, working with just about every file format out there and also delivering quite an user-friendly interface, in this case called GUI2.0.

Additionally, users will be able to easily access some of the best-known online social networking services and portals, including here Facebook, Twitter, MSN and Skype.

Plus, following the same overall design, the Mini2 only offers streaming capabilities (and playback from an attached USB storage device), while the Playon!HD2 also offers built-in storage options, ranging between 500GB and 2TB HDDs (a version without built-in storage is also available).

Additional functions and features worth mentioning include the Gigabit Wired Networking for media streaming and wireless networking support with optional Wireless-N via an external adapter for both products, while the Playon!HD2 also includes a USB 3.0 port for faster access speeds and an EZ Drive HDD slot to make the installation of 3.5-inch HDDs easier.

Pricing for the brand-new networked media players from AC Ryan is quite close to that of the previous models mentioned above, since the Playon!HD Mini2 sells for around 109 Euro/US dollars, while, depending on the provided storage, pricing for the Playon!HD2 ranges between 169 Euro/US dollars for the model without an internal HDD up to 289 US dollars for the 2TB option.
