14 DAY TRIAL // Verizon and ABUKAI have just announced that they have teamed up to introduce ABUKAI Expenses into Verizon's V CAST Apps storefront
Verizon Wireless' V CAST Apps is available on select Android smartphones and BlackBerry devices, including HTC ThunderBolt, Motorola DROID PRO and Samsung Fascinate.
The carrier's storefront offers customers thousands of apps, games and more and let them discover, purchase and use apps with a simple one-click process.
In addition, V-CAST Apps allows customers to take advantage of the direct billing feature and get the cost of the purchased apps invoiced on their monthly Verizon bills.
“To have ABUKAI Expenses included in V CAST Apps and available through the Verizon Wireless Online Media Store is a privilege and a distinction for ABUKAI,” said Philipp Schloter, president and chief executive officer of ABUKAI.
ABUKAI Expenses for Android allows users to capture and record their expenses by simply taking pictures of their receipt while on the go or in the office using the phone's camera.
As soon as all of the receipts have been captured, users can tap the “Submit” button and the application will automatically create an expense report that will include cost categorization, date, vendor and other required information.
Furthermore, the application can also provide a PDF document with copies of the receipt images, after each report.
“ABUKAI Expenses routinely saves users more than 60 minutes per expense report. Multiply that by the number of reports a company generates and an hourly pay rate, the productivity improvement generated becomes clear and shows how important having a smartphone can be for any employee,” added Schloter.
ABUKAI Expenses is now available as a free download from V CAST Apps and Android Market and is compatible will all smartphones running Android 2.0 or newer.
However, while the download is free of charge, as well as the first three expense reports each consisting of 10 expense items or fewer, additional services require subscription to an ABUKAI Expenses account plan.
