14 DAY TRIAL // TextSpy is a kit with which a user can quickly and effectively retrieve all text messages that were deleted (on purpose or by accident) from a GSM SIM card.
It will present the information in an easy to read format. The kit includes a professional USB SIM card reader and a CD with the Text Spy software that also has the install drivers for the USB reader.
The user will have to install the software, plug in the USB reader with the SIM card inserted and is then ready to retrieve anywhere between 10-20 of the most recently deleted text messages, apparently the difference depending on the SIM card's storage capacity.
The company also states that:"Although every effort has gone into the development of our software, we cannot guarantee you will get a read every time (SIM dependent)".
Said to have been designed to be easy-to-use, it will allow retrieving the messages within minutes. You'll of course need a computer that's running Windows, has a CD drive and an USB port for attaching the card reader, but of course, it's very unlikely that a person considering buying this kit wouldn't have access to such a computer either at home or work.
While according to the company that is offering it, TextSpy is not intended for illegal use or causing harm, some people might find some other uses to it except for the ones noted here, including spying on their partners or friends. Also, it seems rather unreasonable to cough up ?99.99 just to retrieve a deleted text message.
