Brauner Phanther - the quality extremism

Some people deliver quality and some other take quality to the extreme while actually caring not too much about sales, quantity-wise speaking. Brauner is one brand following this philosophy and luckily for them, the last 10 years have been full of successful achievements. They went on less-traveled paths and decided to settle for the highest-quality gear few men can deliver and their choice was a good one.

Years after the VM1 tube microphone which has literally shaken and forever changed the way music technicians and singers saw mics, Brauner comes in with a new blasting piece of hardware: the Phanthera.

The name is weird and it resembles much of the feline's name; the actual piece of gear confirms this resemblance - the new Brauner mic is sleek and smooth, looking close to perfection yet being sturdy and powerful, delivering utmost performance and unlimited reliability.

As Brauner has always been a brand using only the finest and best materials available, expect that the Phanthera looks, feels and plays the same, no matter if you're Pavarotti or a death metal vocalist. In short words, the Phanthera is a pressure gradient transducer-microphone with a polar pattern cardioid running on a FET (solid state) circuitry - sorry fans, no tube in this one!

It is fed by the usual 48V phantom power available on any decent mixing console and it can take up to 142 dB SPL (that's one pant-s**tting loud voice, believe me!) The Phanthera captures the sound of your voice if you can restrain it between 20Hz and 22kHz (and you will, believe me this time, too). The SNR (signal to noise ratio) is 83 db and it comes with suspension accessories, all in an aluminum case and together with the acclaimed Vovox connectivity gear. Price coming soon.
