The claim belongs to Hulk actor Lou Ferrigno, who starred in the TV series in the '70s

While Lou Ferrigno hasn't been associated with Hulk ever since he played the green-skinned giant on the TV series between 1977 and 1982, he claims to have some inside information about the next big project Marvel is going to start working on.

At the moment, the public's attention is directed towards “Avengers: The Age of Ultron” which is currently being filmed in London, but Ferrigno made a controversial claim while he was out speaking at Comic-Con in Minneapolis.

“Now because he saved the day they're making another solo Hulk movie after the second Avengers comes out,” Ferrigno is quoted as saying.

There hasn't been any confirmation yet from Marvel as to such a project being in the works, nor from the actor that's currently playing the Hulk, Mark Ruffalo. So, we're going to assume that Ferrigno is just speculating, since, let's be honest, he's been out of the loop for a while and it's unlikely that he's getting first-hand information from reliable sources these days.

In the meantime, you will be able to see the Hulk make his comeback on the big screen in the new Avengers movie which is set for release in April 2015 in the UK and May 1, 2015 in the US.
