For Galaxy's GeForce 7600 GS DDR2

Arctic Cooling, a Swiss cooler manufacturer, has just announced it has developed a passive cooling solution for GeForce 7600 GS DDR2 Passive for the graphic card manufacturer Galaxy Technology, which is integrated into the PC case ventilation and enables an identical cooling performance even for SLi configurations, informs Hardware Zone.

It appears that Arctic's latest fanless cooling solution operates in an almost total silence offering the highest reliability because of an enhanced heat conductivity which is achieved though the usage of a special material - the Australian Aluminum.

"The high performance thermal compound (MX-1) allows for optimal heat transfer even after years of use. In addition the cooler has a retention mechanism which utilizes four specially designed supports. These supports prevent the heatsink from rotating and guarantees safe transportation," writes Hardware Zone.

But Arctic is not the sole cooling solutions provider to develop an enhanced dedicated solution, as HIS launched yesterday a new graphics card - the X1600Pro IceQ 512MB - which sports one of the most efficient cooling technology, as it can draw the air inside the PC case to cool down the card, and blows amounts of hot air out of the case in order to decrease the GPU temperature together with the PC components. Furthermore, the cooling solution developed by HIS is also ultra because HIS IceQ fan keeps the noise level below 20dB.

In fact, HIS announced the availability of this technology a few weeks ago, when it has launched another graphics card - the X1600Pro IceQ 512MB,which was tested by several computer developers and specialized web-based magazines, every test showing that HIS's solution decreases the temperature of the system by 11 degrees.
