At the beginning of the month, Kim Kardashian finally released her first (and last) single, “Jam (Turn It Up),” a collaboration with uber-producer The Dream. The song is not one of the best pop music has to offer – and Chelsea Handler obviously believes the same.

On her latest show, the comedienne and her guests took a swing at Kardashian for not sticking to what she’s good at, namely, make entertaining reality television and basically look good on the red carpet.

As the video below will show, the instant Handler told her audiences that Kim had come out with a song, she more than showed them what she felt about it.

She’s seen sighing deeply and rolling her eyes.

Then, if this wasn’t enough to deliver the point across, she explicitly states she’s come up with another method of experiencing the song that actually being submitted to the “ordeal” of having to listen to it.

Chelsea calls out for her “brother” Rob, who comes in with a piece of paper in hand and his best intonation for reading poetry.

“Girls in the building/ Boys spending money/ I’m on the floor, living my life/ Feeling so good, feeling so right/ Got my hands up,” he recites.

However, the laughter reaches a new pitch when he delivers the “inspired” line, “5 more shots of tequila, I’m thirsty.”

After Rob is gone, one of Chelsea’s guests draws the conclusions, saying Kim should probably stick to what she does best and leave music to professionals.

“I can;t encourage celebrities enough, stick to what you are good at. And in Kim Kardashian’s case, let us know what that is when you figure it out,” he says.

As a side note, while she did release a single, Kim is not looking to launch a music career by releasing an album as well – or, at least, that’s what she’s been saying.

The single was meant more as a fun dare, with all proceeds from it going straight to charity. Below is Handler’s take on it and also the Kardashian’s song. Enjoy.
