There's a certain segment of computer users who are always looking for ways to boost the performance of their systems, looking for new components and the latest technology releases. This is the case with overclocking and computer enthusiasts who are known for going the extra mile in their attempt to break new benchmark records. For them, a number of companies have developed targeted product lines, providing them with higher-performance solutions. Such is the case with A-Data and its latest DRAM module release, the XPG Plus Series DDR3-2200+ dual channel memory kit.

“Demand for the higher PC performance continues to increase and A-DATA is the leader in this field with the XPG DRAM products. We created XPG Plus Series DDR3-2200+ DRAM module to lead PC enthusiasts into the next era of PC performance and satisfy their insatiable thirst for computing speed,” said Action Chen, deputy project manager of A-DATA XPG. “The new XPG Plus Series DDR3-2200+ DRAM module delivers the killer speed and reliability of all DRAM module currently on the market.”

According to A-Data, its latest DDR3 memory kits have been designed using high-quality memory modules, featuring 2oz copper, eight-layer PCB design. The module's ICs have been tested for overclocking, making them an ideal choice for the aforementioned user segment. The 2GB/4GB dual channel module kits have been tested at 2200MHz and with latency settings 8-8-8-24 at 1.55-1.65V.

The new design of A-Data's DDR3 memory modules will ensure users have the best overclocking support, with cooler modules, ready to provide them with overclocked speeds. Available in kits of 1GB x 2 and 2GB x 2, the new A-Data dual-channel DDR3 products will be ready to provide support to users of both AM3 and P55-based platforms, from AMD and Intel, respectively.
