The app sports a better look, new features, various enhancements

Yesterday, Skype announced the availability of a new flavor of their mobile application for devices running under Google’s Android operating system, and has also delivered info on what was changed in the new release.

Various improvements were introduced throughout the application, starting with the ability to send files, or a better graphical experience. Not to mention that the video quality on Nvidia Tegra 2 devices has been improved as well.

Among the other improvements the new app flavor comes with, we can count auto-sign in, along with faster sign out, as well as voice messaging options.

Additionally, the company announced that users of more devices could enjoy video calling with Skype on Android, including the HTC Amaze 4G and Motorola DROID RAZR smartphones.

Basically, Skype guarantees that the experience users can benefit when making video calls from these devices will be great, though they note that the option can be turned on any other Android smartphone from the settings menu.
