A mother from Craigsville, Virginia has received death threats over dressing her 7-year-old son in a KKK costume for Halloween.

Young Jackson Black saw the costume of a clansman in the “Fried Green Tomatoes” flick and thought it was “cool.”

Ironically, the family's surname is “Black.” Jessica Black describes that her brother, Jackson's uncle, has also donned the outfit in Kindergarten. He wore it again when he was 13 years old.

“I did tell him that if you do it, you know there's going to be people talking about you, there's going to be people saying bad things about you when you do wear it,” she tells WHSV TV.

Black defends her choice and explains that the Klu Klux Klan still exist in Craigsville. She argues that they even raise money for the local school every year.
