Peugeot, the world renowned car manufacturer, has been targeted by a hacker known as UR0B0R0X. He defaced a number of Argentinian sites, including peugeotargentina.com.ar, one of the company's official domains.

Cyber War News informs that the list of victims is made up of: - comunicacionpeugeot.com.ar - grandprixpeugeot.com.ar - laboutiquepeugeot.com.ar - elearningpeugeot.com.ar - peugeot3008.com.ar - peugeotmagazine.com.ar.

The hacker didn’t alter the index page of these sites; instead, he added his own HTML file that contained the defacement image.

It’s uncertain at this point which of the affected domains are owned or approved by the company, but it’s clear that the hacker wanted to demonstrate that a lot of Peugeot-related sites contain serious security holes.

At press time, most of the sites still hosted the file published by the hacker, except for peugeotargentina.com.ar, the one which is the property of PEUGEOT Argentina S.A.
