After going to the doctors to complain about stomach aches, a man from Hong Kong learned that his pains were not caused by indigestion or some other similar condition, but by a giant cyst on one of his ovaries.

Long story short, this 66-year-old discovered that, contrary to what he had believed all his life, he was not a man. Quite the contrary: he was a woman.

A woman suffering with two different and rather peculiar genetic disorders, to be more precise. What are the odds, right?

Specialists detailing this case in the Hong Kong Medical journal say that one of these genetic disorders this woman was suffering with caused her body to produce a tad too much male hormones.

This in turn led to her growing both a beard and a so-called micropenis, The Sun informs us.

The other genetic disorder, known as Turner Syndrome, is linked with symptoms such as infertility and short stature.

In the case of this woman, it kept her from continuing to grow once she hit the age of 10.

The Hong Kong doctors who diagnosed this case say that, if it were not for the cyst the woman developed on one of her ovaries, her condition would have probably never been pinned down and documented.

The Chinese patient has reportedly decided not to change gender and continue being a man.
