14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung launched the Galaxy S III back in May and promised that a 64GB of the smartphone would be available later this year.
Well, it appears that Canadian customers who were looking to purchase this particular version of the Galaxy S III will be able to do so in the near future. Check it out here.
Although the 64GB Samsung Galaxy S III has already been introduced by Canadian retailer Basatne, the device is currently out of stock and there are no details on the phone’s upcoming availability.
Customers in Canada who are willing to wait until the 64GB Galaxy S III becomes available once again should know that the smartphone can be bought for no less than $1,167 CAD (940 EUR) outright.
Keep in mind that this is the unlocked international version of the smartphone, so users won’t be able to take advantage of LTE support in case they wish to pair with Rogers, Bell and TELUS 4G networks.
This 64GB variant of the Samsung Galaxy S III is equipped with an Exynos 4412 Quad chipset that packs a quad-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz and only 1GB of RAM.
The North American version of the Galaxy S III comes with a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon processor, which is complemented by an Adreno 225 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.
It is also worth mentioning that the international model only supports HSDPA (21 Mbps) and HSUPA (5.76 Mbps), whereas the North American version features LTE support, allowing for much faster data speeds.
The rest of the features are similar, so expect the international version of Galaxy S III to boast an 8-megapixel rear photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.
Last but not least, the smartphone embeds 64GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD memory card.
