62-year-old Ken Oka was an experienced skydiver. However, this mattered very little when the man became entangled in his parachute and ended up falling to his death in a Lake Elsinore backyard.

Sources say that the man died on Saturday afternoon while attempting to perform a group maneuver together with other skydiving enthusiasts.

Apparently, Ken Oka got caught up in his own parachute and failed to free himself in time. Despite efforts to revive him, the paramedics had to pronounce him dead upon arrival at the hospital.

His family told members of the press that Ken Oka loved skydiving so much that he had asked them to cremate his body and scatter his ashes across the sky should anything ever happen to him.

He used to say that this would be his last jump.

Back in 2003, Ken Oka took part in the largest aerial group formation recorded up to that date. This achievement is written down in the Guinness Book of World Records.
