Tumblr Editor-in-Chief Chris Mohney led a team of artists including Christopher Price, Bobby Finger, Dan Toth, and Fernando Alfonso, the DailyDot reports.
“I would call live GIFfing a modern day, rapid fire, political cartooning. [...] I was intrigued to see how people did them their own way. There’s no set practice to creating these things,” Toth said.
Artists played on facial expressions and received tips from users as to what moments deserved to be captured, all through the night.
