They don't really bear a series name, oddly enough, just the company brand

EVGA isn't really known for its power supplies, which is probably why it didn't bother trying to establish a brand for them yet. Regardless, there are two new models to examine.

They are both efficient enough to earn the 80 Plus logo, although no specific designation, which means they're a step below even 80 Plus Bronze.

Still, 80% is a good level, especially since even 80 Plus Bronze PSUs qualify as high-end in most areas of the world.

Anyway, the new PSUs have outputs of 430W and 500W and high-amperage 12V rails (one each).

Furthermore, they have short circuit, under voltage, over power and over current protection, plus 120 mm fans keeping the edge off the heat.

Both 430 W (100-W1-0430-KR) and 500 W (100-W1-0500-KR) EVGA PSUs will be available soon, at which point their prices will be revealed as well.
