We're not sure whether the press release was a leak or on purpose, but Canon China announced the successor of Canon 350D, which seems to be Canon 400D.

Canon China removed the press release after a short period of time, but it was enough for the Internet community to spread the information.

The new camera, which will probably be available at Photokina, has a CMOS sensor with 10.1 megapixels.

Just like the 350D, due to the sensor dimensions (22.2 x 14.8 mm), the 400D will have a crop factor of 1.6.

But the sensor is not the most important thing at this camera, Canon introducing the first anti-dust system for their DSLR.

The solution chosen by Canon looks similar to the one implemented by Olympus, which removes noise by shaking it off the sensor, in their DSLRs.

Additionally to the 400D, Canon also announced two new L lenses, the EF 50mm f/1.2L USM and the EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM.

We will have more information once we receive the official press release.
