Police in Ohio report that a shooting has taken place in a basement of an Akron home. Four adults have been fatally shot, incurring wounds to the head.

According to News Net 5, officials have uncovered the bodies of two men and two women in a townhome.

The shooting took place on Thursday afternoon, April 18, and the manner in which the victims were killed points to an execution.

The four people that have lost their lives are all in their early 20s, police sources note. Their remains were uncovered on 40 block of Kimlyn Circle at around 3 p.m. yesterday, by a friend of the deceased.

Police were immediately called in to the residence located off Independence Avenue, in the proximity of Chapel Hill Mall.

The names of the people killed in the shooting have been released by their families, and the youngest, Maria Nash, is only 19 years old.

The male victims have been identified as 23-year-old Kem Delaney and 24-year-old Ronald Roberts. Ronald's girlfriend, Kiana “Kiki” Welch, has also been murdered.

Roberts’ family could provide no motive for the killings, and could not pinpoint any enemies that would want to take his life.

“My thoughts are that my son wouldn’t have hurt anyone. He would have given you the shirt off his back, and whoever did this needs to be found and held responsible.

“Now, I have a 24-year-old son to put away, for what? Can you please tell me why?” his mother cries out.

“My brother was a good kid; he ain’t deserve to get killed like that. Whoever did it, I hope you turn yourself in or get found,” a man identifying himself as the brother of a male victim tells reporters after the incident.
