3D printing may be a fairly new segment of the technology industry, but it is developed enough to warrant its own trade show. A trade show where you'll get to see dinosaurs.

The 3D Printer World Expo is a 2-day event that will take place on January 31 and February 1, 2014, in Los Angeles, at the Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel and Convention Center.

That's still a few weeks away, but you can spend the time looking forward to seeing the best 3D printers made so far, product demos and, most importantly, dinosaurs built to scale.

The dinosaurs will be the main attraction, according to the ones setting up the convention. They are made by France-based CreaZaurus.

You'll see the Tyrannosaurus Rex, the Velociraptor, Protoceratops Andrewsi, Archaeopteryx, and the Triceratops Horridus.

Furthermore, there will be 3D printing education tracks open too, where people can learn how to use 3D printers for commercial and artistic purposes.
