These shoes will literally hold the phone, wherever you are

Designer Alan Nguyen of Freedom of Creation has come up with the idea of a shoe that has a case where smartphones can be stored.

Freedom of Creation is a 3D-printing house originally founded in 2000. It is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

They make various pieces of furniture, lighting products and jewelry.

Now, they have added footwear to the list, though not just any footwear.

Designer Alan Nguyen has made a shoe, in size 37 (or US size 6), which was designed around iPhone cases found at the FreshFiber (another 3D-printed accessories site).

The heel is even made out of such cases. It's all a very unusual invention, especially since the shoes are bright yellow, although there are other colors of course, like red.

It will be a bit hard to make hands-free calls while wearing these shoes, unless you have a Bluetooth headset.
